In nature we discover specimens of both the beautiful and of the grotesque. We are both fascinated and disturbed, seeing ourselves in these objects; our wants and desires, our achievements and short comings. What is breathtaking and rewarding inevitably becomes bittersweet, even brutal at times. We are forever seeking, forever dreaming of what could have been and what will be. This is the reality of our ever changing lives, for we are never satisfied and unable to rest. That is the essence of my body of work, a creative documentation of my search, beginning from dark and deep within and expanding outward into the ever pulsating world around me.
